Nostalgic candies, soda fountain and more!

Finally checked out Fairmont Antiques in the Old Market! Very fun and eclectic. Antiques, soda fountain and the biggest selection of old fashioned candies I think I've ever seen. So if you've been longing for something sweet from long ago that you thought you'd never be able to get again.... Life just got a whole lot sweeter!

The rows of grapes at James Arthur are so beautiful, a nice change from corn fields.

La Buvette

Hmm what to say.... Checked out this restaurant for my birthday and it's great! Ambience is amazing and food is equally so. It's a French restaurant/wine shop & deli. So if you're lucky like we were you can dine by the goods and check them out!

Mahoney State Park

I enjoy Mahoney State Park year round, but I think it's the most picturesque in the winter! So beautiful, it's cozy to stay at the lodge or cabins this time of year and just relax.

St. Cecilia flower festival

I was so excited for the St. Cecilia flower festival this weekend. I've been once before and it was so beautiful. This year I liked it even more, the theme was a tribute to their sister city in Mexico so it was very colorful! I especially like the arrangement on top that used tri-colored peppers mixed in with the flowers.
